• Message History: The app keeps a local record (fail, retry, pending, complete) of message forwarding activity for your reference.

The collected information is used strictly for the core functionality of the app:

• Forwarding incoming and outgoing SMS to your synced email account.
• Displaying message status history (fail, retry, complete, pending).
• Running a background service (enabled or disabled by you) for continuous SMS monitoring and forwarding.
• Improving performance and ensuring proper functionality of the app.

4. Permissions We Use

Pingoo requests the following permissions to provide its features:

• RECEIVE_SMS / READ_SMS: To detect and forward incoming and outgoing SMS.
• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To send messages via email.
• REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS: To allow the long-running service to function reliably.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC: To keep the background service active while forwarding messages.
• VIBRATE & POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To notify you about SMS forwarding status.

We do not request any unnecessary permissions outside of the app’s declared purpose.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or SMS data. Information is only shared in the following cases:

• With Email Services: SMS content is forwarded to your configured email address using standard email protocols.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

• Uninstall the app at any time, which stops all data collection and forwarding.

8. Third-Party Services

Pingoo may interact with third-party email services (e.g., Gmail) for sending SMS data to your configured account. We do not control these third parties and recommend reviewing their privacy policies separately.
